You found it attached to quarts of what? Fosters ? LOL. Scrape some off and try to melt it.

Gold is often found associated with, or part of quartz. I agree with bigfoot1; run, don't walk to the nearest mineralogist!

Closest mineralogist is 250km away from where I live,
It's weighs just under 60 Troy ounces
