a Google search for Tangee shows it was lipstick.

I looked on google images and found it could be an old Tangee Lipstick. Does it open?

it looks complete to me. most of the old lipstick tubes that I have found complete were just so corroded that they wouldn't come apart unless I took some pliers or something to them. either way, stuff like that is fun to find and always better than a pulltab.

Always try to dig pull tabs if you want gold, they fall in the same zone as pull tabs, nickles too. When you get tired of digging pulls tabs pass them up. I don't really rely on readings, I make my decisions on sound, then I may glance at the display.
