Cool finds. The one item is what is called a Jew's Harp ... but is missing the reed ~ noise maker part.

Yes, that's a Jew's harp. The brass D ring is an attachment on a sword belt which sported a Model 1851 type sword belt plate. The General service button on the chain reminds me of a clasp for a officer's cloak. Hope this helps.

The chain looks like the type on an Enfield rifle nipple protector. Hard to tell from the photo, but is that an eagle button attached to it?
