Any ideas on these two finds???????

Found them in two seperate places but both have stumped me as far as origin and use. The first is from my neighbors back yard. Looks like a "wing" with clips on the back.

The second item looks like its gold plated. The symbol on the front looks like a freemasons symbol. What do you guys think. Has nice details. Too bad its in such bad shape. Found in one of the oldest parks in the city.

The ''ring'' looks like ART NOUVEAU style . My guess is it's part of a lamp shade where several of those ''wings '' were attached by metal rings to form a circle , then it could be put on the globe of an old style lamp to keep the glare of the flame down . Nice find ! Is it brass ?

That's definitely the mason insignia on the lower item, not sure what it is though.
