any ideas on this button guys?

found a few Wheaties and a button of some kind today. Looks like the button has the initials "JTE" on it. does anyone have any ideas of what kind it may be? and it had a tin back, which is rusted away now. thanks guys! , blu

If I remember right its a blazer button made by Waterbury, if not them still a common pattern blazer type that has shown on here several times.
