Any help or information is appreciated. This thing is pretty big measuring 16 inches in length and 8 inches wide. Not sure if this is a homemade or what. Body is wood with metal detail and brass barrel. Looks like it would actually fire lol

It appears to be a model of a Revolutionary War era cannon. A British six-pounder. And a nice one at that.

It even has a adjustable screw under back of barrel......it is hollow through I wonder if it could fire

It appears it might.

Take a flashlight and see if light goes through touch hole... look down bore as you light hole.

IF you see light... it would.

This is a well made piece, the gun carriage looks to have recently restored probably in the past 25 years.
I'm always surprised when a piece of this quality has no identifying makers marks anywhere on it.

The cannon barrel looks to be cast brass as opposed to bronze. :icon_scratch:
Probably made in India as a model for display purposes, I'm thinking it dates from the 1950s - 60s.

Here are a few examples of modern cannon kits,
Dave

Dave is right. It is a kit cannon. I would say 60's/80's. It looks like a generic close to an 1849 Naploean. Would probably fire with about 20grns. Still a nice little piece.

I had one similar to it years ago, mine had a .50 cal bore. I loaded it with guncotton and bird shot mostly, but I did try powder and ball once..... once.....
