Hello All. I dug this tonight at a late 1800's to 1920 sawmil site. It is brass and about the thickness as a dime with no writing on it. Nothing on the back, I am thinking that it was glued to something.

Any ideas are mucho appreciated.

Thanks for the view and HHTA. C9.

differently does look like something from the roaring twenties.

Yes, I agree with Tamrock; her era looks like the Roaring 20's.

It reminds me of a decorative piece that would have been glued to a 'handle,' perhaps the handle to a letter opener.

Interesting find :)

Thanks tamrock and Breezie for the replies. I had not considered the Roaring 20's and the whole Flapper Girl scene. I guess this is one that will remain unknown unless someone has found the complete item. HH. C9

May be from the handle of a hairbrush?

Part of a pocket knife? No rivet holes to attach it, but maybe it was glued to the side of the knife.
