Hello All,
I am new to posting on T-Net. Let me preface this by saying i do not know anything about Rock/Gems. That being said, i eyeballed
the rock on the left in some fill that was placed outside my work. I'm in NE Mississippi so i am guessing it came from a pit nearby. It has what looks like a pith. Any ideas what it could be?

Maybe a piece of fossilized coral. That's a nice looking nodule of grey flint you have there. From MS? Gary
