Does it looks like the bigger hole in the bottom was cut out later or broken out. It looks like a civil war period flagpole tip that went on the bottom of the pole

Looks like the end of a hoe or garden tool of some kind :icon_scratch: And the hole is were it has worn through from use!I'm purdy sure I'm seeing a hole in the end aren't I! :icon_scratch: Like to see the end of it were the wore spot is!

They look like flag pole tips. I've dug quite a few but I've never dug one with a hole near the end like that.

I can see the resemblance to a garden tool part but the end it is solid. I was thinking maybe a flag pole end but the horse drawn buggy end seems to make sense.

Thanks,

Yea I don't know but thanks for getting back on it! Are buggy parts that small looking.????The hole in the end don't look much bigger then the quarter there???? :icon_scratch: Maybe someone will come up with something for sure I might search some more on it later as I had a piece that has no conclusion to either sorta simular.I had thought funiture feet on it.But it came from a 1700's site.Maybe cane ends would explain the wear through places on them above! :icon_scratch:
