Found this item at a Civil War camp I have been having some luck with. Actually found two of the item pictured below. Don't know if it is CW period or what it could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and happy hunting.

It looks like one of the knock-off hubs from my old Austin Healy. It was old but not Civil War old...

It looks like the neck ring around a door bell; not the area directly next to the buzzer, but the outside piece. The flanges would be east/west, and probably have a hole in the center for attachment. Breezie

looks like exhaust pipe flanges to me.
