The first one I had set aside in junk pile for some time until one day I started hitting it with a wire brush and revealed some sort of scroll work or design on this broken piece.



And this second item I'm not sure about either..

Kinda looks like bits and pieces of a cast iron stove, they could be very ornate. The piece with the hole was probably part of the stove door hinge. Just a shot in the dark here.
