Any ideas?

I found these 2 items in the yard of an historic home...any ideas? The bigger item is 10 inches long and the smaller item is 1.5 inches wide.

The second piece looks like part of a sink drain. Turn it over and take a picture of the other side . And, can we please see a picture of the long piece showing both ends?

The piece that's 1.5" looks like it could be the top setting of an older lamp that a decorative finial might sit atop of. If you can take a few more pics of the other piece that might lead us in the right direction.

Thanks..you may be right about the drain thing. The other one looks the same on the other side. I thought it may be part of an old lamp but I'm not sure.

I can't see either end of the first piece.

Additional thought... It may have been a hanging lamp with the 1.5" cup in between the light source and pic #1.

And it could also have been a bathroom drain... But a hanging lamp sounds so much cooler

I can't see the whole thing, but the first item looks like the handle of a candle snuffer
