I found this cuff a few years ago in southwest Georgia in a field where I've found points and tons of flakes. I've tried to research it but can't really find anything similar. It's nonmagnetic, it is tarnished but not rusted, there are no markings anywhere other than the designs, and it is basically exactly like I found it. No electrolysis or polishing have been done to it. It doesn't appear machine made because the designs aren't precise enough. Could it be a Native American artifact, Spanish trade, or dime store junk? Any ideas would be helpful.

No help with ID but congrats on a nice find

Wild guess, but I'd say that's 1960's or 70's. Just going by the looks, like I said, just a guess.

African slave trade bracelet maybe? I have to look but I think I remember seeing some that look like that.

Looks modern metal, maybe from 1970's

Well well... isn't that a little beauty... hmmmm

The only thing about it possibly being modern era is where it was found. It was in the back corner of a farm field, 300 yds from the nearest road, and even further from any house. There is only one house for a mile in any direction. Not disagreeing with those assessments, I just don't know how it would gotten there.

It's 1970's or so and it's machine engraved. Comes from a time when native americans became cool. Sold all over the country at "Head Shops", catalogs, lower scale jewelry stores. May be silver plate on base metal. Don't think it's silver. Used to sell them in our antique store for about $10. Shiny when new, but discolors easily. Also, this helped start the fake tourquoise rush...

It has the flavor of a 1932 Olympics bracelet.
