That looks more like an attachment for a cake frosting decorator. Is it aluminum?

I used to have transit tokens that looked like that - so, could be some type of token - need something for size reference.

Its about the size of a nickel. Nothing stamped on either side. I agree, its probably a cake decorating thing, since it is aluminum
