The nature of the replies mean that it resembles at least a few things. There will probably be more opinions concerning your rock. The most important thing you should be able to take from this is that many rocks look similar to many others. It is frequently difficult to tell with photos alone.

When I collected my own lapidary rough, I found that on some rough, I was wrong far more than I was right. Even today, I will misidentify part of the time. Of course, some of that could be lingering effects of the stroke.

Past time for more coffee. But morning will come. Dutch Bros 911. Large.

Complex, welcome to TreasureNet. :)

The What-Is-It? forum is mainly for getting unknown "man-made" objects identified. Your rock is a "natural" object. To get a rock identified, you'll have better luck by posting it in T-Net's "Rocks/Gems" forum.

If you want to make viewing answers a lot easier, do not ask the same question in more than one thread. Since you are asking the same question about the same rock in no less than three threads, you serve only to confuse and irritate many who might be inclined to help you.

Moderators, would you please combine the threads on this topic, and move to correct section, if necessary.
