My friend found this today nearest we can tell its from Kentucky but there is not allot of info on it. any info would help and a value. I am no button expert.

It is a post civil war (1880's) Kentucky state seal. With the rim being damaged probably worth $5 to $10. Even though a civil war Kentucky is worth quite a bit the post civil war buttons are not. Still cool to find though
