Looking for buds to prospect some northern east and central Iowa water in the Spring or anytime the weather and water allows before. My canoe or your jon boat. Maybe some MD'ing in the ghost towns. Jim

Thanks for the info, I poked around the site a little. I was more looking for a someone to share gas with. I still have a little 1 1/2" dredge I use with a hi-banker and a 'long tom', sold everthing else when I left CA. I have a hose fitting welded into a round galvanized oil drain pan with a grizzly (heavy BBQ grate) on it and let the jet carry the gravel to the sluice; or dump buckets in the long tom and power sluice. The 1 1/2" plugs too easy for 'real' dredging, doesn't move much material either. The guy I got it from said he used to clean the sluice on a 6".
