Any Missouri Diggers??

I live in the Kansas City area and am interested in relic hunting. The soil around my house and vicinity has a high clay content, bu I'm not sure about neighboring parts of the state.

Would someone please advise me one what the best type of MD would be for the soil conditions and relic hunting?
