I don't know a lot about pewter but I do know that the older stuff is quite collectible. I bought a bag of old pewter spoons today for a few bucks and and am seeking help with them. IMO I think they are mid 1800s maybe earlier?

I don't know that much about pewter either and I think you're probably right about the period, give or take?. The one has my monograph GB. The only pewter I might and have bought are produced by Scandinavian makers, because I like their unique designs.

Oh! I take that back on considering buying only Scandinavian pewter. I did buy these old French Pewter measuring cups. First because they were cheap, second because they're around a 190 years old and have the old weights and measurements inspection marks. They're not really worth a lot being they're only two of a set and in poor condition, but the information one can obtain from them does make for some interesting facts and knowledge learned and that's always fun to get from the people of treasurenet.
