any suggestions on ace 150/250 coil loops

hi yall
I've had my 150 about 2 years now and since then an axil loop on the 9in coil has cracked on one side but is still connected and on my 12in both loops have broken off after only a year. Now might be upgradeing in the next year but still i would have hoped that they would have been more duable. i'm tring to figure out how to mount rubber/plastic washers on the outer sides of it but maybe the manufatures can figure out how to make them more durable orjust send the axil/nut assembly with each coil since this is when the unused ones seemed to brake.

i would forget about fixing it myself and contact garrett. coils shouldnt break like that. i think theres a great chance that garrett would just give you new coils, even if the detector is out of warranty.
