any1 have a bad mojo artifact??

i will start and see if ne one follows.
So back in 09 i got a mimbre's smudge bowl that was killed, a practice where the punched a hole in the bottom and placed the dish over the deceased's head and burried like that to release the spirts. so........ in May i started a divorce, i thought WTF??? how is this happenening, so i was thinking long and hard, so then i thought its the BOWL!!!!!! so i took the bowl, and practically gave it away, for pennies, no joke, with papers. So after i "gave" it away things started getting better in my married life, and now 7 months later ......i have a new GF and my *&*% $%$%$ @#@$%*(% ^&(*^*&(^&($ $%*@ wife can go to hell :headbang: now im thinking i want my friggin bowl back :( oh well , smile ;D

If I hit a bad run I change shovels (I usually jab them in the dirt along side a road standing up strait and just drive away.)

You are hilarious Chong !!! I think the bad mojo was not in the bowl but something you got rid of. Looks like your mojo has turned for the good
Happy Huntin.

I brought home some human teeth from a field hunt once.
My wife made me take em back.

I have a couple of pendants in a frame. My wife thought they were pretty until I told her that they were worn on the natives bodies (She knows nothing about artifacts). She threw a fit and blames them for anything bad that happens. I explained to her that I found them in the middle of plowed tobacco fields and that they were not dug out of any indian mounds. She's finally gotten used to the idea of them being in the house. She still refuses to look at them though.

She did tell me that if I ever bring home something with a human face, both I and it will stay in the garage. ;D

I have a spot that really gets me and some artifacts come from there . Once my arifacts and myself make it to the door we are safe . It is a 2 mile hike to this spot that I search in a creek. To get to the bottom of the creek you drop down a few levels of about 30 to 40 feet down . So one day, during the middle of a summer texas day I decided to walk to this spot and look for some artifacts . I get there and drop down to the water and stand on a mound type stucture that over looks 5 or 6 other mounds on the other side of the creek. I am not saying they are burials because I have not dug, yet. I think they are were the banks collapsed and made the mounds. I find artifacts /pottery but no flakes washing in the creek water. So the min. I step on this mound I hear thunder and the sky get as dark as night like some you would see in the movies, ( lighting , high winds , breaking banches stuff falling around me being in the trees.) So I jump out of the creek and trees quick. My fastest way home is the railroad tracks . So I take off down the tracks and during this time it starts raining, like you are driving a motorcycle at 65 with no face potectection. The whole front side of me was soaked and my complete back side was dry . It all happened so quick I didn't have time to grab a nutting stone and a polishing stone that I saw . To this day every time I go back it still creeps me out down of in there . I think there are sprits right there.......and they are mad at me for taking thier artifacts .LOL

This is kind of similar, but maybe a little kooky, but what then heck.

There's a 200 acre tract of woods west of Boston which I've hiked for nearly 20 years.

I hike it 2 or 3 times a week and had always gotten a strange feeling along one particular section of trail.
One time saw a person standing by a tree at this section of trail, but when I got up to him he was gone.
I thought it was Goth kid smoking weed or something, and I was going to acknowledge him and keep going. He was there for a maybe 5 seconds, and then when I got up to him, he was gone.
In the following weeks other odd things happened at this tree and after those experiences, for a long while I avoided this section of trail ‘cause I was spooked, even though I’m old enough to be very skeptical.

Then 2 months ago I stopped at this tree to examine it more closley. I walked behind it and found someone had placed a clay amulet on the tree. This was a shock. This is just a random tree on a random section of trail. There is nothing obviously unique about it, but someone else must be feeling the same vibes from this tree or this spot.

Over the past 2 months I've begun researching the history of this place.
There's a lot more to this story.
Here's the amulet.

I also have a lucky screwdriver. If I don't have it with me, I don't find anything.....ever. I've even tested the theory several times. Now, I don't play with fate, I just take the darn thing with me.

I found a killer little Hardaway Palmer(only one I've ever found) and I fumbled it while cleaning it up and broke off an ear on the kitchen floor. I finally found the ear and my hunting buddy said he'd fix it. About 4 months ago I asked him if he'd had any luck with the repair, he said " Oh, yeah " and that was it, well I still haven't seen it since I broke it, I'm almost scared to ask what happened to it. That's my only bad mojo artifact...I really miss that point.

no object but there is a place my son and I relic and artifact hunt and no matter when we go there when we reach a certain location I find myself looking around and feeling uneasy. I never mentioned it to my son but yesterday I see he is acting different while we are there and I ask if he is ok he tells me he has a really weird pushing sensation on his chest ( i feel like the air is being squeezed out of me every time i get there ) and a feeling of dread! I was feeling the same thing at the same time. I asked have ya ever felt this before? he said Dad never wanted to say ne thing but every time we get to this end of the property I always feel uneasy and like we are being watched.... It has gotten so bad at times that I have left because things just didnt feel right and I was honestly scared. There are alot of native, rev and civil war period artifacts as well as a old homstead and indian mounds within a half mile of this one spot. I never have the heavy dread and just a bad feeling ne place else on the property except this one location...

your treading on "someones" spot and they do not like it -- and they are letting you know it -- your being warned --pay heed -- theres a few spots like that out there , not everything thats buried really should see the light of day again.-- there are things that were buried that should stay that way. -- laugh all you like , until you have personally had your own "first hand" experances then you will laugh no more.

Trust me Im not laughing..... I know there is something not quite right about this place and I guess that and the fact that every time I go there I pull something interesting out of the ground is the reason I keep coming back! I want to find out why I want to know the reason for these feelings at this location. There is so much history in this one location it would blow ya mind I have found rev war items civil war items native american items and many home site type artifacts.. The thing with this place is I can move 100 yards away still find stuf but the feeling goes away its concentrated in a area about a quarter acre the bad feeling that is, ne place else around there and I feel fine... They say curiosity killed the cat well I am very curious as to why that place is so restless so to speak..

sadly the answer is easy ----something very very bad occured at that "exact" spot in the past , neg vibes put out when a really horrifically bad thing "occurs" can "contaminate" a spot spirit wize ( making a "bad spot" zone-- it in effect ozees "evil" or bad vibes )-- sort of like when a A bomb goes off and it leaves "radation" energy behind -- but this is "spirit energy" instead . ---tread very lightly around that spot and be very careful as to what if anything you remove from that "exact" bad feeling area

If this location makes you feel uncomfortable maybe try leaving something instead of taking something. You're looking for artifacts, tools, everyday items. Try leaving something in return for what you're taking. It may make you feel better about the spot.

often if one removes a indain item --esp a hand made stone item --leaving a bit of tobacco as a sort of "gift" exchange can make spirits less up set that your in effect "robbing" them , because your showing them a bit of respect --a tobbaco offering was a sign of deep respect in the indain world of old.

i do the same, break off a piece of a cigg, and put it exactly where i found it, or sometimes a bullet

I like the idea of leaving a token. Tobacco makes good sense. I've left pottery shards in the past.
Here are more details on my story. I need to update it with new info on a Native American grinding stone and some other stuff, but here it is:
