Hi bkamusic nice find there! Stainless frame maybe more likely silver I would think or silver plated heavy, silver doesn't tarnish when buried in the soil out here always looks bright when found vs the dark of clads.

Yeah, it does need a little help, lol. I could send ya the various odd parts I've dug the past couple of years -- a winder, various gears, etc. etc. I actually love all my watch parts, especially the winder that has a bit of gilt still on it, and the big circle that surrounds the case -- but I've never found the actual front or back case covers yet. Keeping my assorted parts to build a whole watch someday, if I live to be 150 years old, that is! HAVE FUN! Andi
