Anybody Notice a Trend Here?

Yesterday DiggerBug and I went exploring to a couple of new sites.

First site....newer park with a nice woodchip tot lot. Already has a hunter.

Second site....neat looking place! Can still see the old foundation of the church, but littered up to the wazoo with shells and bullets and such. Was neat to go there just the same. This was DiggerBug's old stomping grounds back in the day and I enjoyed hearing the tales she shared bout the place. Might have to go back there this winter and clean it out.

Third site....park that is usually cleaned out and still is.

We had breakfast, found a bit of change and enjoyed the ride searching for new sites.

Today, I get back to the park complex and go to the baseball field. Back and forth, row after row, nothing but a small bit of change, a snap here and there and some pull tabs. I was sweating like crazy, but didn't want to leave without at least one good keeper. Got in the car, drank some ice water and headed back to the softball field. Five minutes and I'm back in the car with my keeper.

Nice finds Nana, the trend I notice is that it's hot everywhere. I've started hunting the beaches at night with a headlamp, it's much cooler then. Congrats on your silver.

That's a nice looking pendent you found there. I have found that baseball fields don't produce as much as soccer or football fields, at least not around here. I think the reason being that soccer and football fields are used for recreation by regular people when there are no games going on. Not many people use baseball fields for anything but baseball. I think you did pretty good compared to the baseball fields around here. Way to go!

True, it is hot and has been hot for weeks is a trend here, but the fact that the boys don't seem to loose anything made me go back to the girls field really quick!
