Anybody Notice a Trend Here?

Yesterday DiggerBug and I went exploring to a couple of new sites.

First site....newer park with a nice woodchip tot lot. Already has a hunter.

Second site....neat looking place! Can still see the old foundation of the church, but littered up to the wazoo with shells and bullets and such. Was neat to go there just the same. This was DiggerBug's old stomping grounds back in the day and I enjoyed hearing the tales she shared bout the place. Might have to go back there this winter and clean it out.

Third site....park that is usually cleaned out and still is.

We had breakfast, found a bit of change and enjoyed the ride searching for new sites.

Today, I get back to the park complex and go to the baseball field. Back and forth, row after row, nothing but a small bit of change, a snap here and there and some pull tabs. I was sweating like crazy, but didn't want to leave without at least one good keeper. Got in the car, drank some ice water and headed back to the softball field. Five minutes and I'm back in the car with my keeper.
A little sterling 'key to my heart' pendant and $3.87.

Makes sense Nana, girls play softball, girls wear bling, girls lose bling. Guys seldom wear bling. Congrats. The nearest softball field to me doesn't allow digging in the grass or the dirt; I was disappointed earlier this year when I went there with the intent of medal detecting it and read the sign.

generally stated --girls wear more "bling" then men unless their rap star types --- and women that play "softball" or other "sports" tend to lose stuff while playing-- so target the womens sports playing areas in / near your town!!! -- thats the vibe I'm catching from your post --- Ivan

True, it is hot and has been hot for weeks is a trend here, but the fact that the boys don't seem to loose anything made me go back to the girls field really quick!

Maybe the baseball fields are only hosting..divorced mens teams...that might explain why no finds there,due to the fact ex-wife got everything earlier

Hi Nana :} Good to see you two are still out and hunting,the only luck I ever have around baseball fields is near the concessions and the bleachers. Ive never really thought about girls losing more stuff out on the softball fields I know where a few are maybe Ill give them a shot sometime. I was wondering if you guys ever hunted that old skating rink you posted about one time? I have one near me Ive been eyeballing,wondering if it would be worth the trouble,HH...Shoot
