So I found this in one of the rolls in my boxes today, I almost missed it searching, but it caught my eye on the second riffling of the coins in my hand, never seen one before. Yes, I could look it up, but what fun would that be right? So hopefully someone will tell me what it might be and if they have ever seen one before? Thanks Guys ( and Gals), HH, Maverick.

Wow ! Hutchinson is where the Garlic Festival is every year here.

Tasty tasty garlic.

They even had garlic ice cream.

That is a token. Many businesses in the past offered tokens as a way to pay at their store, bar, ect. That is a really cool find. You won't find many of them. Most people I hear that find them is with metal detecting. But all in all an awesome find.

Masonic penny, most aren't too very rare although there are exceptions.

Found a handful in 15 cent bins at the local coin shop, most get worn down to next to nothing due to many of them being used as pocket pieces.

So, is that a 40% or 90% pick there, lol. Ag is not so good lately here, nothing really to post about thats for sure. Nice to see ya posting again BF! HH, Maverick.

Thanks for the answers there guys, I figured someone would know what is was. Thanks Cooper36 for the link, I'd say that this is one of my coolest finds in a half box yet. HH, Maverick.

No, it is the size of a half, it looked like just another clad from the edge, I caught it as I was sifting them in my hand real qwik, almost missed it!

Really cool find Mav. Another keeper saved by sifting/sound checking.
I have got to start doing that.

It looks like a 99.9% plastic pick. Perfection is not achieved, so that .01% is random impurities, some of which could be silver.
