Anybody up here in Alaska?

Just wondering if there are any other T-Netters who hail from the Last Frontier. I'm currently attending college in Fairbanks and it's going to be a long time (until mid-April at best) before I can get out and go hunting. If there are any local members up here I'd love to meetup sometime in the spring and go hunting. With all the old mines and other historic structures around here there's bound to be some goodies hidden in the dirt.

You should go to the Anchorage Mining and Diving Supply forum (AMDS) and you will find all sorts of folks doing metal detecting and prospecting--a really great forum. Steve Herschbach is the "owner" and is a super duper metal detector person. Give it a try----Don
