anybody use a Minelab Eureka Gold at the beach?

I know it is not made for the beach, but I bought it for gold nuggets and want to try the beach out for some rings and stuff. Will it work OK?

I had not used this gold machine, but tried the Tesoro Super Lobo. It didn't work well near the salt water nor wet sand near the water. The conductive salt and black sand made it to unstable which it would do with the Eureka Gold.

In the dry sand now or at fresh water it should work fine, but no advantage over another VLF except maybe able to find bird shot or split shot easier.
