I had some time yesterday and made these with my lapidary machine. I use a heavy grit wheel and then 400 grit and then 600 grit. IMG_20200410_142727260.webpI have a dozen glasses still to make. I'll put them in my little store for the locals! 3 of these have missprint's with the s and n backwards at the bottom:) I would love to see more! IMG_20200410_142845314.webp

Very interesting post I like the idea . It would allow me to salvage some that are broken tops and still be able to display some nice bottles except for the fact they have broken tops Thanks

Nice! I used to cut bottles almost 50 years ago when I was a kid.

Thanks hgf I have given a few away as gifts! They are good for marbles. Thanks for the post fistfull. Grinding things down always makes me feel like a kid! I remember my folks getting a bottle cutter in the late 70's I think they were a little more popular. I cut few more yesterday. The boulder brewing ice bottle would have been a beauty! Happy Easter!!! IMG_20200412_114609305_HDR~2.webp
