anyone else following the call

done with the using now to the building then to the designing yes I'm talking about metal detecting taking a break from using them to actually building one well I will be there's a lot of theory and and practical things to learn.

Just wondering if anyone else here is following that path.

I can hardly resist building things. I've had to temper myself with a question. Can I ether save a bundle or can I make it better. Then I remember my beer lesson. Making beer can be fun but can I make it better than I can buy. I my case no. Maybe some can but my efforts came up less than I'd hoped. Same with wine.
I've looked at circuit plans for MD's and they're doable but what do the people that do them for a living know that I don't. Like knowing I could build a car but could I build a better car. I can Google a number of circuit plans but what I wouldn't know is how state-of-the-art they are.
Now if I wanted to build a detector that wasn't available like I've seen being used hunting meteorites. Large PVC contraptions pulled by a quad. That's another deal.
