Anyone ever use the 8 x6 Butterfly coil for Ace 250??

Just ordered the 8x6 Butterfly Coil for my ACE 250. from Kelly Co.. Was wondering if anyone has used one and what they think of how it works in the field... Would appreciate any feed back Good or bad LOL I mostly detect in parks and school yards and tot lots ,, so I am around a lot of trashy areas.. Thanks for any info Shane

Nope, I went and got the older EXcelerator coils, and now I see they have enlarged them with the butterfly design.


Only problem is you have to eat a can of spinach before swinging that bad boy, but the good part is my right forearm rivals Popeye's

I like the idea of being able to cover larger areas at a quicker pace

Just curious, what was wrong with the coil that came with it? Also the DD does not pinpoint as well as the concentric.
