Anyone have a listing for this token?

I'm posting this for a friend. This token is for $.25 from Heilman & Atkin Cigar Store in San Diego. I've found a business listing for them in a 1911-3 directory but I haven't found anything listed for the token. Any info on rarity and value would be appreciated.

Kappen's CA Tokens book has the 5¢ denomination of this listed, but not this one. His woefully outdated pricing guide shows the 5¢ valued at $4.50. I'd encourage you to post yours on tokencatalog.com

I agree! THis is a very high denomination for a token. The higher the amount the more rare they are.

Thanks, here's some better photos. It measure 27mm at it's widest point. I just noticed that it was made by the L.A. Rub.Stamp Co.....at least that's what it says at the very bottom of the obverse.

Yeah, their contribution page is a bit strange. I filled out all the boxes that I could, then added the photos, and then after the photos were uploaded, all the info I put in the boxes went blank again! I figured they must want one or the other, so, I said the heck with refilling all those boxes again and just hit submit.
