Hello everyone! I need help identifying this item. I have had people suggest merchant token, saloon token etc. but I have yet to find anything even close to what you see here while researching. I found this item next to a house circa 1850 in Cincinnati Ohio. It is quite thin and you can see it has started to crack in one area. Any input appreciated thank you!!!

p.s. Found my first standing liberty few days ago..lol
 

What is it made of? I think the diamond shaped mark may be a clue.

Some sort of maverick token ,, May never be able to definitively identify it.

Could be .. could be one of a kind .. but it still is a maverick token of some sort.

Try researching in the area towns for WOOD's saloon, tavern, merchants. hotels... that sort of thing
