Anyone know about revolver hammers?

Found these beauties today. This is my second model T key, #68. The hammer SEEMS small to me. Maybe a Derringer? For reference...the knot in the picture is approximately the size of a dime.
Any info is appreciated!

Cool finds...
I've only found a few "T" keys too.
I don't think that is a hammer. there isn't any place for the spring or the sear.

That sort of reminds me of a hammer for a bicycle bell.

Yes, it appears to be a pawl, or a piece of the inside of a grandfather clock.
Good news is, I had a hammer in my finds bag that I hadn't emptied yet! The irony. It's from a toy, of course...��
