I'm looking for places in SE Wi to hunt....i know of one but im still trying to get the exact location. I hunted at a 120 year old farm the other day but after 3 hours of scrap metal and mesquito bites i gave in......it was my first hunt and somewhat discouraging.

There is more to find at the farm. You can go back there dozens of times and come up with stuff. Old farms are loaded with scrap crap and are some of the hardest places to learn your detector. Just keep removing all the scrap as it masks some of the good signals. I wouldn't expect that you will find lots of good things at an average old farm(lots of bartering occurred then, as opposed to cash transactions), but there should be plenty of good relics there.
