Anyone know what this is?

I discovered this flower growing wild in my yard. It has a leaf that looks maple like. I have been cutting them down for many years now but this one grew because I have had bronchitis for about a month followed by a sinus infection. So it missed it's normal chopping. What is it?

99% sure it is an oak leaf hydrangea. Is the bark peeling from the stem down low on the plant? If so, that is it.
