✅ SOLVED Anyone know what this structure is?

A friend and i came across this large structure while searching around a very large foundation. The old site was likely an inn. It has a very large cellar hole, big yard, remnants of old shrubs surrounding the property and what looks to be a foundation of a stables or something. This was on the hill behind it. At first i thought silo but its a but deep to be one. Its very big. Maybe 6 ft diameter. Maybe a well or Cistern? This is in Massachusetts.

Ceredox discovered this initially and I checked it out on a return trip with him, and all I can say is, after standing on the lip of this (stupid), i'll leave the immediate area around it for him to investigate. all set haha.

looks like a nice place to hunt,are those paint cans in the hole/cistern,
prob a lot of trash in it maybe sift a foot of it see whats up

Unfortunately this property is completely clean. I hunted for almost 2 hours without a SINGLE signal - not even trash. I don't know if a detecting club hit it or what, but man it was discouraging. I'll go back though.
