anyone know why I can't access the iron bias setting in Park 1?

I see in the manual that the default iron bias setting in Park 1 is 6 but I want to lower it and i can't. when i long press the sweep speed icon all I get is a grunt and no Fe setting. Could it be locked? does iron bias work in MultiFreq? or just in all metal mode? thanks guys

Apparently iron bias is locked at 6 in Park 1. I reset park 1 and couldn't access iron bias. I did a factory reset and
still couldn't get to iron bias weather in all metal mode or not. So I guess I'll try using field 1 for a while and see how I do with that.

Gene, I adjust my iron bias all the time in park1

1-push settings button until icon over recovery speed
2-hold down settings button until line shows up under icon
3-press accept reject button to change iron bias from FE or F2
4- press + and - buttons to raise or lower your iron bias

that is exactly what I do but when I long press in recovery speed all I get is a sound and it stays in recovery speed, no Fe setting. I tried it in all metal and not and it still won't go into Fe.

Do a factory pre-set then try again. If you still cannot access advanced settings for iron bias a call to minelab tech support is is order.

Are you using single frequency? Iron bias is not accessible in single frequency mode only Multi.

solved!!! had to do a factory reset and now I can get to the iron bias on Park 1 ... thanks y'all
