Anyone knows this mark/seal?

Hi, my parents have been owning a Japanese coffee-set since 1971 (a gift for their wedding). Just for curiosity I've made a research on the net to see if the pottery is really Japanese or not. But I've not been able to find explanations on the mark/seal antwhere.
The coffee-set is composed by 6 cups, 6 saucers and a sugar bowl with bamboo handle. On the bottom of each cup there's a litophane (a Geisha, six different faces per each cup).

It's nice but looks pretty modern based on the of the lithophane. These were popular back before and even during WW2. Here are some more detailed ones- Helen's Japanese Lithophanes
