I need to purchase a pouch to hold all the trash and good stuff that I find while diving. Any ideas would help me out and someone showed me a plastic bottle with a string attached that you clip to your weight belt. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Aloha ;D

i;ve been diving for 34 years, , metal detecting for 27 years, i used alot of items over the years for putting my finds in, a non-breakable jar is about the best thing i used, with a screw on lid. bug bags are good to to trash in, you dont want alot of extra stuff with you when u dive, i have a 1/2 gal jar with lid, also has a handle on it. and you can put ur hand down in it, or use a spice jar there small, dill small holes in the sides or bottom to held sink it. look at ladys change bags also in the stores, sporting good stores also, i know other who just uses a old hunting sock it works for them,

I used a small pouch from Scuba Pro, and orange thing for the small stuff. I also took down a lobster bag from from one of the dive shops, I forget the name of the dive company that makes it. It worked great for bottles and shells and lighter items like that. Check with your dive shops to see what they have. Don't forget a small Lift Bag for the heavier items like anchors.

contact local dive shops, ask the to look in tridents book, lots of neat stuff it there.
I used to run a store, best pouches I have are from zeagle. very durable and lots of different ways to attach. scuba pro also has some interesting things.
I prefere not to use lobster bags because of snags, but they do work on a lift line for trash.
Just my 1/2 cent worth (taxes ya know).

You can get weight belts with velcro pockets designed to accept upto 10 lbs weight in each pocket, and these are available either in Neoprene, or mesh design. You can also get dry bags which when open underwater and allowed to flood, will keep items wet that need to be kept so untill preservation (These last are available from N-Diver or their dealers (Northern Diver)).

I like the Dive Rite One-Zip Pocket.....

I attach it to my BC for rings and coins.
