Anyone n to trains? HO, "N" "O"

Can you post some pictures, It would be a good starting point for discussion.

What is HO scale in model trains?

HO or H0 is a rail transport modelling scale using a 1:87 scale (3.5 mm to 1 foot). It is the most popular scale of model railway in the world. The rails are spaced 16.5 mm (0.650 in) apart for modelling 1,435 mm (4 ft 81⁄2 in) standard gauge tracks and trains in HO.

O scale used to be called 1/4 inch scale with the ratio to the real thing as 1:48 with HO being 1/8 inch scale and 1:86 or 1:87. ...
HO is the next size and has been referred to as Half O with N scale being about half of that.

Scale implies that is it a scaled down version of the real thing. O scale used to be called 1/4 inch scale with the ratio to the real thing as 1:48 with HO being 1/8 inch scale and 1:86 or 1:87. ... HO is the next size and has been referred to as Half O with N scale being about half of that.

...I’ll try and post a few pics of the N scale I bought for my nephew. I have an “O” and a “G” scale trains too.

First attempt at N scale, not good at all. Corners too tight. That causes them to derail and fall off table, not good. N is too small for me..

There is at least 20 HO scale cars....no track or engines. A lot of made in the USA parts. Old parts.

Hopefully they're still good, they might fetch of bit of interest from the right person.

They are very popular according to sold items on eBay.

...OV, I know the plastic parts are track connectors... $2.95 a package today. I would think all those stickers would be worth the monies but I really don’t know...
