I was there in 1965 and 1966 for 18 months. I was in the signal long lines battalion and was a 32G20.

As a kid in the 50s, I remember reading about Pusan, Pusan harbor and the Pusan Perimeter.
A lot of history there including massive casualties on both sides.

"nay" I did learn the language somewhat and I owned property and was the only enlisted that owned a car. Origin was USA oregon 20+ army. and you

3 years, six months and 18 days (I'd have to do the math again on the days - getting forgetful) and I did 17 months Vietnamese language school prior to deployment to Japan for training for 5 months, and then spent 17 months in the Central Highlands of Vietnam and Cambodia.
