It's not too far, just across the Sunshine Skyway... and I'll be hitting up the sand, 'cause my White's is a good ol' land lubber! lol
Just remind me when that weekend comes around, so I can make sure to be there.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner but I haven't been detecting, or checked this site in quite awhile (obviously...lol) I live in Bradenton and have hunted Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach, and Coquina quite a bit (not in awhile though) I have an ACE 250 and I really haven't been that super lucky at the area beaches although I did find a nice little 14 kt ring at Coquina Beach right at the waters edge directly in front of the snack bar when I first moved to Florida just over a year ago. The funny thing about it was that it was literally my first day detecting down here and it was my first find! I found the ring before I even found any trash!

you are too funny Kelly. When I know my schedule for certain I'll plan a group hunt. I'll be there from March 18 till the 21st but have to be up at Disney one of those days. My son's band will be marching in one of their parades! I"m so excited.
