Found this at a water site and unfortunately it's pretty slick. Slightly bigger than a U.S. quarter (at this point anyway, I'm sure some of its size has been worn away). On one side it looks like a bar (at the bottom?), with another design element, but the other side doesn't look like much of anything. Don't have a scale on me at the moment unfortunately. Is there anything that can be determined from this item?

About 100 yards away, I did find a large cent, but 99.9% of everything else is 1900s+. So any chance at a Canadian largie?

Thanks for any help!

Good greif, did you use a wire wheel to clean that? Call me crazy, but to me it looks like it might have been a Mass copper at one time. Either a cent, or half cent depending on the size.

It was found in salt water mud, so it's exactly how it came out... no actual cleaning. From what it seems, the mud kind of acts like sand paper, comes out clean, but super worn

With the bar on one side, it "could" be a Fugio cent but pretty rough to say for sure.
