APO address?

Not a pain at all as long as it is thru the U.S Postal service as U.P.S and FedEx wont work.

No special paperwork or anything? The shipment would be media mail, some older poetry books.

When I received mail at an APO, some 30+ years ago, packages sent to me also required a customs form.

Time for more coffee.

I was wondering about the customs form also. Does anyone know if that has to be done as well? Also, does it cost the same?

Go to the post office and ask with apo in hand

If you do it through ebay, then a customs form will be populated with your postage and a little more information (and signature) from you. So pretty easy. If you are worried, then go to the P.O. and they will walk you through it.

That being said, orders to APOs will probably cause dings to your shipping time. The last two things I sent to APOs took weeks. One is still on the way and the other (I think) arrived but never got its final scan so still shows up as "in transit". That being said, I can't bring myself to add APO's to my "will not ship to list."

Hmm, so it's basically like sending something to Canada then it sounds like. Alright, thanks guys :icon_thumleft:

APO is normally for a service member. When I was stationed in Germany my address was APO NY etc. So the postage was paid to NY and Gov paid the rest.

No problems with an APO address. Just sent like any other package (using Ebay shipping).
