Appalachian Trail closed at Harpers Ferry due to Train Wreck

Just saw that the footbridge which is part of a railroad bridge over the Potomac River in Harpers Ferry collapsed due to a train wreck today. The footbridge is part of the Appalachian Trail. The article states the trail will be closed indefinitely.

The last time we visited Harpers ferry, I walked across the bridge and bought this t-shirt at an outfitters shop...

I've been across the footbridge a few times,pretty cool. I used to live up on Loudon Heights for a couple years.
