APPLEBUTTER INN (Slippery Rock, Butler County) originally built in 1844

Currently a B&B, the Inn was originally built in 1844 as a six room farmhouse on land grant property. The bricks used to put up the house were even fired in kilns on the premises. The building was the home for the families of Michael Christley, and later, Plenty Weston Steele.
