I found a sterling necklace, old flat button, lipstick tube, old mangled buckle, hunk of chain and a shotshell. The Flatbutton was down about 10 inches, it was one of those signals that sounded better the more I dug, once out of the hole it read like a wheat cent normally reads on my detector.

"Tho Absent Ever Dear" I still haven't found me a silver one yet, that's one on my want list. The guy I was detecting with couldn't believe how excited I got over a thimble but I'm always intrigued by the old relics. Oh and I happened to run across a member of your club on my way out of the woods, didn't catch his name but he had just got back from Arizona. He had already scored a merc.
