Tried a new park today by travelling down to Dundalk. Not many deep signals, but I did get 5 or so and these lead me to older targets. $4.34 clad, 3 wheats, an unidentified brass piece, and my favorite find of this hunt, the arcade-stamped Good Luck token. The token was 6 to 7 inches deep and was folded over on itself; I was able to gently bend it open. This token is a "one-of-a-kind" and probably dates from the 1960s; it reads "Oggie Wise & Sally Meyers Love".

Nice token McCdig. I'll bet one of them was sad when they lost it - or happy when they threw it !

Nice day!! Those personalized arcade tokens are pretty cool!!

Here's a pic of an example of the "Metal Typer" machine used to make that lucky pocket piece.

An old stomping grounds!

That token may have been "folded in two", on purpose! ;)
Good hunt!

Thanks John! Never saw one and I think that goes for most Treasurenet folk.

Thanks Skippy SH13! I, too, had come across that obit and saw that the gentleman had grown up and settled in Delaware. No family members appear to have resided in Baltimore. I did also come across a Martin Wise on a social media site who graduated from a Baltimore high school in the early '60s. It is more likely, I think, that this may me the original owner of the token.

Found it in a park fronting Dundalk Ave. I thought the piece was turned by a piece of earth-moving equipment when the park area or adjacent street was re-done.

Thanks for your post, Art!

Thanks Texas Ed. Will head back, maybe next month to continue the search.

Thanks Trezurehunter! This was a first for me and, like you, the possibilities of how it got there and what became of the once happy couple remain unanswered.

Thanks deershed! New area for me. Definitely want to head back there soon. Friendly folks there and a nearby elementary school was built in '25!
