Archaeologists Unearth 1,000-Year-Old 'Hammer of Thor'

According to Norse mythology, Thor's hammer helped prevent giants from destroying Asgard, the celestial home of the gods, writes The Daily Mail.

Since the time of the Vikings, thousands of tiny intricate amulets, similar to Thor's legendary hammer, have been found all over the Viking world since the first millennium CE.
