I got a bag of halves and it seems like someone dumped their 2010 bag of halves from the mint in here. I havent even gone threw 1/8 of the bag and i have about 50 of them.

I know some people save them and they end up with a ton of them. I wouldn't save them and would just dump them. They are never going to be rare or collectable. I can get a box of halves and find plenty of them.

Save a Roll, dump the rest...

Not good for me. I dump them and also the clad proofs.

Im going to dump them the bag produced 1 1941 S walker, any walker is a good day!

I keep them. I am starting Kennedy folders for the grandkids and will probably keep a roll of each beyond that. At some point enough is enough. They are interesting to me as part of the Kennedy series and that is about it.

They'd only be worth something if the mintage figures are significantly low. So far the series haven't. If the lowest mintage was 1.5 million, they'd be worth something if more than 1.5 million people collected halves. Start promoting half dollar collecting as a hobby and if the demand is there, the prices will go up.

:coffee2: After 1970 I only keep 1 NIFC (year & mint mark) or silver coins. The rest (NIFC) I either throw back or upgrade the 1 I have in my collection.
